After an alleged leak, a teaser and an earlier release date than anticipated, San Marino have moved their reveal forward just a little. Senhit will premiere the music video of Adrenalina tonight at 19:00 CET.
Quite a day for Senhit
This morning, an alleged leak arose for San Marino’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Soon after the song, which, on Shazam was identified as Adrenalina, was online, Senhit and her team decided to reveal a teaser. In the two minute video, American rapper Flo Rida has a namedropping moment, sparking rumours that he will be part of the entry.
In the video, Senhit jumps from a plane for a parachute jump. On the parachute, we see the title Adrenalina, which she then confirmed later this afternoon. However, that wasn’t the end of proceedings today, as the Italian singer confirmed on Twitter (see below). SMRTV then planned a reveal on streaming platforms was planned for 23:59 CET tonight. And even that wasn’t enough! At 19:00 CET tonight, the music video will officially premiere on the official Eurovision channel. The link, which includes the artist and song title, currently does not contain Flo Rida.
It does however contain the songwriting team, which includes a Swedish team made up of Joy Deb, Linnéa Deb, Suzi P, Jimmy “Joker” Thörnfeldt and Danish Eurovision winner Thomas Stengaard. This sounds promising!
Third time lucky?
In 2011, Senhit represented San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf – then as Senit, with the song Stand By. Unfortunately, she failed to qualify for the Grand Final when she finished in sixteenth place in the semifinal.
Nearly ten years on, Senhit announced her return to the Eurovision Song Contest, and after an online vote, it was announced that she will be singing Freaky! in Rotterdam. Despite the cancellation of the 2020 contest, it was announced that Senhit will represent San Marino at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.
Below, you can see the official premiere link for “Adrenalina”! The song will go live at 19:00 CET.
