Firstly, remind yourselves what happened in the first rehearsal:
And now here is what we’ve noticed in today’s second rehearsal:
Lithuania manage to do what we saw from them in the first rehearsal as well. The performance is very slick and polished. The colour scheme of yellow and purple works very well for The Roop. Halfway through the first run, lead singer Vaidotas nearly lost his mic pack, but he managed to save it and continue as if nothing happened. The same happened during the first rehearsal, when Vaidotas lost his mark and quickly recovered.
There is a lot of sense to put this as the opener. You will be drawn into the show without a doubt. It’s interesting to see how well Vaidotas connects to the camera. During the line My eyes are blinking, we see a close-up where he actually blinks extra. Discoteque relies heavily on its choreography and it’s a good shout that they have got it absolutely spot on.
There’s not a whole lot that’s different from the first rehearsal. The Roop feel even more at ease on the Eurovision stage and will be a great opener next Tuesday.
