Roksana Węgiel – ‘Korona’
Now, we know what you are all thinking, but this is not pandemic related. No, ‘Korona’ is Polish for crown and Roksana Węgiel the Junior Eurovision 2018 champion is ready to claim her music throne again. After the release of her 2019 self titled album, she is back with her latest single. In ‘Korona’ Roksana is feeling the 80s vibes as she gives us a relatable message to ignore the outside hate and focus on the relationship with have with our inner selves. Which as a co-writer, makes this her most personal song to date. As well as this we see the multi-talented Roksana showcasing her dance skills in the video below!
Vanessa Amorosi – ‘Volume 2 EP’
Absolutely everybody should be looking forward to a second helping of Vanessa Amorosi music in 2021. Following the release of the soul and gospel inspired Volume 1 earlier this year, Vanessa returns with Volume 2. This six track EP hits you in the feels as you go on a vocal journey with Vanessa to your nearest country music bar. Meanwhile the lead single ‘Muhammed’ punches through with some bluesy angst between the melancholic ballads. Be sure to watch the music video below! As well this, the Australia Decides 2020 star has some tickets still available for her upcoming tour.
Fedez, Achille Lauro feat. Orietta Berti – ‘MILLE’
Last, but certainly not least, we close out with the Grand Dame of Sanremo – Orietta Berti. Here she has formed a common framework with two other popular Sanremo names from 2021 – Fedez and Achille Lauro. The three connected on Instagram the night before the final of the 2021 festival. So, in that moment, this inspired single was born! With Orietta’s operatic range, Achille’s artistic vision and Fedez’ modern rap – we have the past and present of what makes Italian music so rich and diverse. In ‘MILLE’ we get Italy’s take on Grease, with camp-tastic, 60s Summer vibes of light-hearted memories of love and frivolity.
