Rehearsal review

Rehearsing today for France inside La Seine Musicale is Enzo, performing “Tic Tac”. As the first rehearsals are closed to the press, this review is based upon content made public by the EBU and France Télévisions.

France’s staging looks chic and polished! Enzo is joined by 5 dancers (3 females + 2 males), moreover, we can see a lot of them in the background. In the beginning of the song it’s dark and we can see a shadow of Enzo. Afterwards, everything is very bright and shiny! And, for sure, since the song is called “Tic Tac”, we can also see the giant clock. In the middle of the stage there’s a huge golden staircase, which is continued by the background at some point.

The outfits are another remarkable thing on the stage. Enzo is wearing all white and a golden jacket. Female dancers got shiny silver dresses of the 1920s style. Male dancers went for classic outfits of black trousers, white shirts and bow ties. Enzo seems quite happy and relaxed while performing. Sometimes he joins the dancers but the vocals stay steady.
