Paris 2021🇮🇪 Ireland

Take a look at Maiú Levi Lawlor’s rehearsals and the voting details for Ireland in Junior Eurovision 2021

Voting is now open for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021! Once again, fans from all over the world can cast their votes for this year’s contest right now. But who should you vote for? To help you decide, let us take you through a review of each artist’s rehearsals and their voting details!

8. Ireland: Maiú – Saor (Disappear)

Performing 8th in this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest live final will be Maiú from Ireland with the song “Saor (Disappear)”. The track’s music and lyrics were written by Niall Mooney, Lauren White Murphy, Brendan McCarthy, LA Halvery, Anna Kearney (who also provides backing vocals), Anna Banks and Cyprian Cassar

He is a very accomplished performer, the way the vibrant colours flood the grey background slowly really makes this an uplifting performance. His vocals are very mature for someone who’s barely a teenager, the deeper vocal register really suits the pop-rock nature of the song. I think the camera cuts need a little more work to really polish up this stage show. This performance is simple but very effective. TG4 should be proud of what they have produced for this talented young man to shine.

I think this is probably Ireland’s most put together show they have had in the contest and I wouldn’t be surprised if this did better than a lot are predicting. It sounds and looks very Irish in terms of their pop-rock music scene.
