New Music Friday – this week with Manizha, Jeangu Macrooy, Tanxugueiras & Rayden and more!

Ten of the best new songs from Eurovision artists!

Nathan Trent – ‘Late Night Friends’

A familiar face on New Music Friday, Austria’s 2017 Eurovision representative, Nathan Trent shows a maturity in his music style on new single, ‘Late Night Friends’. With sleek 80s beats that become the new sound of the Summer, Nathan wants to know if his Summer of love can be more, as he vents his confusion. Later this April, fans of Nathan Trent can look forward to the release of his debut album, The Storms of Change.

LIAMOO, Klara Hammarström – ‘Guld, svett & tårar’

Next month, both LIAMOO and Klara Hammarström will be going for guld in Melodifestivalen. But for now they release the Carnival inspired anthem, ‘Guld, svett & tårar’. Literally translating to ‘Gold, Sweat and Tears’, Sweden will be hoping this sporting anthem inspires the Swedish Olympic Team to tears of joy on the podium at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China next week!

Dotter – ‘Bon Voyage’

Last, but not least on New Music Friday is three-time Melodifestivalen star, Dotter. Today she returns with her most upbeat anthem yet in futuristic pop anthem, ‘Bon Voyage’. The only thing Dotter is saying goodbye to here, are people that are colder than an iceberg. Despite the frothy, almost Schlager melody, Dotter’s new single speaks to those dealing with moving on from difficult personal relationships and enjoying the freedom after. In a rarity for Swedish artists, we are treated to a music video! Where Dotter explores this message further, all at sea on the dance floor, abandoned by her friends. Until she overcomes that sinking dread and releases they don’t control her self fulfilment and she can always make new ones.
