Two days ago the finalists for Israel’s The X Factor were decided. On February 3rd, the four finalists will perform both of their potential Eurovision entries in a special show, the HaShir Shelanu L’Eurovizion, on Kan 11. From these songs, the judges, a professional committee and the audience will choose one song for each artist to perform on the final on February 5th.
The X Factor final will be broadcasted on Reshet 13. The final will include two parts. As their first song, all four finalists will sing a cover and one of the finalists will be eliminated. Only on the second round the remaining three artists will perform their potential Eurovision entries. The results will be determined by the audience (50% of the vote), the judges (25% of the vote) and the professional committee (25% of the vote).
Israel will compete in the second semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 and will perform on the first half of the show.
