Ten of the best new songs from Eurovision artists!

Jaguar Jonze – ‘TRIGGER HAPPY’

Earlier this year Jaguar Jonze returned to Australia Decides with the emotional ‘Little Fires‘. Now the trail-blazer with the fire dress is back with new music once more. Today she releases ‘TRIGGER HAPPY’ from upcoming album BUNNY MODE due on June 3. Once again Jaguar is in no mood for other people’s nonsense, as she takes aim and fires shots at love-bombers in this guitar-angst anthem. For the cubs that are in the mood for more Jaguar Jonze, a new nationwide tour is on the way, with tickets available here.

This album is a journey of saying goodbye to ‘going bunny mode’. Thank you for saving me and allowing me to survive up until this point, but I don’t need you anymore. Most things I did in my life, I did for survival. But, making music was the complete opposite: it was a gift and permission to myself to create, live passionately, and say what I was feeling. It completely changed my life. It made me feel human.

Aitana – ‘En El Coche’

After a successful 2021 that saw the Latin Grammy nominee take home the crown for ‘Best Spanish Act’ at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2021, Aitana returns with new single, ‘En El Coche’. The Operación Triunfo 2017 breakout star embraces love and sensuality in her first solo single of 2022. Away from the usual heartbreak songs, ‘En El Coche’ or ‘In The Car’ follows an electro-pop rhythm and is another teaser of what to expect from her upcoming third album.

Dotter – ‘Varför’

Last but not least on New Music Friday is Melodifestivalen star Dotter. For the first time since 2016, this years’ Swedish selection did not feature an entry either written or performed by Dotter. Instead she is working with Maltese Eurovision participant Emma Muscat, providing backing vocals on, ‘I Am What I Am’. As well as this, Dotter is releasing new single, ‘Varför’. Once again Dotter is leaning on the pop sound in this electro-guitar anthem. Meaning ‘Why’ in English, Dotter is asking that question and more as she explores the confusion of why someone would cheat.
