Yesterday, the BBC announced the UK’s spokesperson for the Grand Final of Eurovision 2022. AJ Odudu will announce the entry for which the UK’s jury grants its 12 points.
Via the BBC’s official Eurovision account, it has revealed that AJ Odudu will be the United Kingdom’s spokesperson for the Grand Final of Eurovision 2022.
As noted in the announcement, the Blackburn native is the first spokesperson who will present the points from the BBC’s new MediaCityUK studio in Salford Quays.
AJ is a television presenter, who has worked across the UK’s major TV networks (BBC, ITV, Channel 4) before rising to prominence as a finalist on Strictly Come Dancing 2021. She famously had to withdraw ahead of the series finale due to injury.
