The Royal Caribbean International cruise liner group has been announced to be the Official Cruise Liner for Eurovision 2024 and Eurovision 2025.
The cruise line joins the list of partners for the Eurovision Song Contest under the title ‘Official Cruise Line’. This is alongside existing sponsors MoroccanOil’s title ‘Presenting Partner’ and Bailey’s ‘Official Partner’, as listed on eurovision.tv at time of writing.
Royal Caribbean International
A cruise line that has been offering cruise holidays and journeys for 50 years, Royal Caribbean International is a subsidiary of Royal Caribbean Group. It is one of the largest cruise lines in the world and operates internationally, with ports all around the world.
The partnership with Eurovision
According to the eurovision.tv press release, the partnership will entail a “wide range of branding moments and experiences”, and will be visible to the audience of millions that watch the Eurovision Song Contest every year.
The results of the collaboration will become known to fans and delegations throughout the season, up to the Grand Final in May, which is roughly alongside the start of the European cruise season. Royal Caribbean will want to emphasise its summer season of entertainment throughout.
As well as expected promotional materials, the collaboration announcement also indicates that Royal Caribbean tickets will be featured as part of the partnership, with details yet to be announced.
