Farida with “Heartache” is our favourite from this semi-final. Based on our scores, Erika Norwich & Super Rob with “My Ai” and Mileo with “You’re Mine” would also be our choices to qualify for the grand final.

The Reviews
Bente (Farida – “Heartache”)
This is the best song in the second Melodi Grand Prix semi-final, in my opinion! It’s well-produced, and I don’t doubt that she will perform this well. It also has a lot of staging potential, so I’m really excited to see what they’re going to come up with for the live show!
Vincent (Erika Norwich & Super Rob – “My Ai”)
“Heartache” and “My AI” are extremely close in our rankings, the latter losing out because it is, unsurprisingly, more divisive. I hope it doesn’t harm it too much in the actual competition. It is easy to say that “My AI” is surfing on the trends of artificial intelligence and emulating recent “gimmicky” and successful entries (Subwoolfer, Kaarija), but it is a bop, it uses the AI theme with some hidden depths (when you consider the number of people who used ChatGPT instead of therapy), and I have big expectations regarding the staging (Rob, you’d better be on stage!).
