| Parts of the electronic percussion reminds me of Billie Eilish’ ‘Bad Guy’. Does this reinvent the wheel, no. Does it tick my bop boxes, absolutely! The production is fun and catchy. Valerie is able to showcase some vocals chops, unsurprising given she was Pasha’s backing singer in Liverpool! In a televote only Semi-Final you need to be able to hook people into those three minutes as quickly as possible. |
