Asja Džogović to represent Montenegro at JESC 2025

RTCG the national broadcaster of Montenegro have confirmed their representative for JESC 2025. Later this year Asja Džogović will take to the stage in Tbilisi, Georgia on December 13.

On their return to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025, Montenegrin broadcaster RTCG have internally selected Asja Džogović. The 13-year-old student of the Risto Ratković Elementary School will represent the Balkan nation in Tbilisi, Georgia later this year. Asja has won several regional music festival awards and enjoys playing volleyball and art away from her main music passion.

During the internal selection, the broadcaster focused on finding an artist with success in festival competitions. Especially those with winning credentials and experience of performing live in competitions with a professional jury. As well as this, the selection committee wanted an artist with proven vocals and the ability to connect with the audience.

“I am excited to represent my country, Montenegro, at Junior Eurovision in Georgia. I feel proud, but at the same time, a great sense of responsibility, and I will do my best to represent my country in the best possible way. I believe in myself, my team of writers, and I am confident that I will continue the success I have had at prestigious festivals across the region. This is another major challenge for me – my biggest one so far – but I believe we will achieve significant success in Georgia as well”

Montenegro returns to JESC after 10-year break

After ten years away, RTCG confirmed it will return to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest later this year. The announcement comes with the hope of celebrating young talent in the nation and promoting Montenegrin music on the international stage. Montenegro previously participated at the contest in 2014 and 2015. Montenegro joins Croatia who are also returning to the contest this year.
