Sam Ryder to become a mentor on C4’s ‘Your Song’

The United Kingdom’s Channel 4 television network have announced that Eurovision 2022 sensation Sam Ryder will join Paloma Faith as a mentor in a new reality TV singing show ‘Your Song’

Sam Ryder brings his Eurovision experience to Channel 4’s ‘Your Song’

Following his wave of success since achieving the United Kingdom’s best Eurovision result this century, our favourite Space Man Sam Ryder is back on Earth and focusing his talents on the best non-professional singers the UK has to offer. C4’s newly commissioned ‘Your Song’ will see Sam Ryder alongside Paloma Faith and presenting legend Alison Hammond. Together Sam and Paloma will mentor and guide members of the general public to give the performance of their life. The new show is from the production company behind successes such as ‘Great British Bake Off’ and ‘The Piano’.

Unlike similar singing shows that pit performers against each other, ‘Your Song’ presents itself as an uplifting show. It is celebrating hidden talent and then encouraging the performer to connect with the personal ballad or anthem they want to sing live to the best of their ability. However, the unique twist is that they will not see their mentor until after the permanence! Sam will be hoping to bring all of his positive energy and experience.

“I’m so stoked to be a mentor on Your Song! The show is all about celebrating grass roots talent across the country, and hearing their stories through music, which I can’t wait to encourage and uplift. I can’t wait to get out on the road and meet everyone!”
