12 acts announced for Eesti Laul 2026

Earlier this year, ERR the national broadcaster of Estonia confirmed their participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 to be held in Vienna, Austria next May. More recently ERR announced the return of Eesti Laul to select the entry. After going through 171 submissions, tonight during Ringvaade, ERR has revealed the 12 acts taking part in the Final of Eesti Laul 2026 on February 14.

Last night, ERR confirmed the first six acts competing in Eesti Laul 2026. Tonight, during entertainment show Ringvaade, the remaining six acts were announced for the upcoming national selection. In total, 12 acts will take to the stage at the Unibet Arena on February 14. Below are all the Finalists, alongside the names of their entries and songwriting teams. The songs will be officially released on December 4. Artists are forbidden from revealing their entries before this date.

  • Marta Pikani – ‘Kell kuus’ (Marta Pikani)
  • Grete Paia – ‘Taevas jäi üles’ (Grete Paia, Jorma-Jan Erik, Gevin Niglas, Ragnar Sepp)
  • Uliana Olhyna – ‘Rhythm of Nature’ (Oliver Mazurtšak)
  • Vanilla Ninja – ‘Too Epic To Be True’ (Sven Lõhmus)
  • OLLIE – ‘Slave’ (Oliver Mazurtšak)
  • Getter Jaani – ‘The Game’ (Sven Lõhmus)
  • ANT x Minimal Wind – ‘Wounds (Don’t Wanna Fall)’ (Taavi-Hans Kõlar, Paula Pajusaar, Ant Nurhan, Katrina Merily Reimand)
  • Robert Linna – ‘Metsik Roos’ (Robert Linna)
  • Laura Prits – ‘Warrior’ (Laura Prits, Edgars Jercums, Jānis Jačmenkins)
  • Stockholm Cowboys – Stig Rästa, Victor Crone – ‘Last Man Standing’ (Stig Rästa, Victor Crone)
  • Clicherik & Mäx – ‘Jolly Roger’ (Max Õispuu, Erik Soasepp, Jānis Jačmenkins)

Among the acts taking part we see familiar names from the world of Estonian Eurovision royalty! Many will recall Vanilla Ninja who featured on the Eurovision stage in 2005 representing Switzerland. Ollie returns to mark his hat-trick appearance after previously competing in Eesti Laul back in 2023 and 2024. This time she is participating solo, but Marta Pikani has history in the competition as part of Wiiralt who participated in the national final in 2021, 2022 and 2023. After participating as part of his former bands, Tenfold Rabbit in 2012 and 2013 and as part of Meelik in 2023, NOËP returns with solo ambitions. Meanwhile, Greta Paia returns for an impressive fifth appearance. She previously took part in 2013, 2016, 2019 and 2022.

Elsewhere in the latest reveals, we see Estonia’s Eurovision 2011 representative Getter Jaani, as well as Eurovision 2019 representative Victor Crone and Eurovision 2015 representative Stig Rästa. Last years’ debutant ANT returns and is joined by Minimal Wind who are marking their third appearance. Also on a hat-trick is Laura Prits. After debuting in 2021 with his father Ivo, Robert Linna returns.

Eesti Laul 2026 format

Since 2009 Estonia has used the Eesti Laul national final to select its representatives. This year, ERR will continue with a traditional one-show, winner takes all, Grand Final that will feature twelve acts in total.

The Grand Final will take place on February 14 2026 and will retain the usual structure. During the live Final there will be two rounds of voting. The first round will determine the acts in the ‘Super Final’ and is decided by the combination of 50% jury voting and 50% public voting. During the Super Final, the winner of Eesti Laul 2026 and Estonian representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 is chosen by 100% televoting.

Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest

Back in 1994 Estonia made their Eurovision debut in Dublin with Silvi Vrait and the entry, ‘Nagu merelaine‘. During the contest the Baltic nation placed 24th with just 2 points. Despite the early setback, Estonia have achieved eleven top ten results in total. Their best result came with Estonia’s only win in 2001. In Copenhagen the collective of Tanel Padar, Dave Benton and 2XL scored victory with 198 points for ‘Everybody‘.

Earlier this year the Estonian public chose Tommy Cash through Eesti Laul 2025. During the Basel contest, Tommy scored a total of 356, resulting in third place. Thus, achieving Estonia’s best result since 2002 and extending their qualification streak to four years.
