Following a competitive edition of Ranina 2025, Georgia has its host representative for JESC 2025! Anita Abgariani will represent the host nation on the Tbilisi stage on December 13.

After the conclusion of the Ranina 2025, Anita Abgariani won the right to represent the host nation on the Tbilisi stage next month. During the show, three finalists took the stage. The judging panel ranked the artists out of ten for each of the following categories: voice, performance, art and collaboration. However, no point totals were revealed in the show.

11-year-old Anita will sing, ‘Shine Like A Star’. The home entry was composed by Giga Kukhianiadze along with the help of JESC 2011 winner, Mariam Ghvaladze. The music video was filmed in Uplistsikhe and features Anita backed by the Zakaria Paliashvili Decade of Talents Orchestra.

Georgia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

Back in 2003, the Caucasus nation made their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Despite their struggles in the senior contest, Georgia are one of the powerhouse nations in the junior edition. Over the years they have achieved four victories in 2008, 2011, 2016 and 2024. Thus making them the most successful country in Junior Eurovision.

Last year, Georgia selected the Ranina 2024 winner, Andria Putkaradze to represent the country with ‘To My Mom’. During the Madrid contest, Andria earned victory number four with 239 points.
