Eurovision winners and household favourites will celebrate 70th Anniversary
Today, the Austrian host broadcaster confirmed the full list of acts that will contribute to the three live shows of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Earlier this year, ORF had confirmed tentative details surrounding the types of interval acts expected. Most notably, the Australia/Austria running joke which will feature Australia’s 2025 representative Go-Jo, as well as the return of JJ who took the crystal microphone back home from Basel last year.
The ‘Celebration’ section will see eight former Eurovision stars, including four winners, perform a medley to celebrate the 70th year of our favourite music competition.
The newly added interval acts to the list are as follows:
- Alexander Rybak (Norway 2009 Winner & Eurovision 2018)
- Erika Vikman – (Finland 2025)
- Kristian Kostov – (Bulgaria 2017 Runner-Up)
- Lordi – (Finland 2006 Winner)
- Max Mutzke – (Germany 2004)
- Miriana Conte – (Malta 2025)
- Ruslana – (Ukraine 2004 Winner)

Meanwhile another winning returnee for the first Semi-Final is Vicky Leandros. Already ORF had announced that a 70-member choir will sing “L’amour Est Bleu” (“Love is blue”), Luxembourg’s entry in 1967, the first time the contest was held in Vienna. The song, a hit from the Contest at the time, was originally performed by Vicky, aka Vicky Leandros, who ended up winning the contest in 1972. Now it has been officially confirmed the Greek-born Luxembourg representative will also be present to open the first of the three live shows.
