Bangladesh decides on August 23

Recently, Bangladesh confirmed its planned selection process for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026. National broadcaster NTV has announced details for a live selection show. Before the national final goes public, a submission window for songs and artists will conclude on June 10. All submissions must abide by the traditional Eurovision song rules. The broadcaster has advised artists who wish to participate in the selection to work with a record label. If this is not possible, Voxovation will automatically pair an artist with a record label.

Following an internal review, a total of 12 acts will be announced on June 21. Throughout July the acts will undergo training and preparations ready for the live broadcast of the final on August 23. The winner will be determined with mandatory public voting and the option of a jury vote. The method is yet to be confirmed. However, if a jury is used, then this will comprise 50% of the vote. The public vote being the other 50% with voting on the Zoop app. Those voting through the app must select a minimum of three acts to avoid fan biases towards acts.
