Applications open for Junior Eurovision volunteers

Belarus’ national broadcaster, Belteleradiocompany (BTRC), has announced that they are recruiting volunteers for this year’s contest in Minsk. With the help of the Dobroe Serdce (Kind Heart) volunteer organization, they are now accepting applications for this experience.

The role

Volunteers will be working alongside the creative and technical teams. In addition, there will also be an opportunity for you to visit the national delegations.

How to apply

To apply, you must be Belarusian, fluent in English and between 18 and 31 years old. BTRC are also looking for someone with an enthusiastic and positive outlook towards life. Furthermore, being able to speak multiple languages would be advantageous.
100 positions are available. You have until August 4 to send your application. These can be sent to [email protected] or via the Dobroe Serdce page on VK.

Junior Eurovision 2018

So far, fourteen countries have confirmed their participation for this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest. This includes Wales making their debut and France returning after a fourteen year absence. Meanwhile, Cyprus and Ukraine have withdrawn from the contest. Albania and Australia are yet to confirm or withdraw.
Tamar Edillashvilli will represent Georgia, while Anna Filipchuk will sing “Nepobedimy” (“Invincible”) for last year’s winners Russia.
