After yesterday’s shock through the Eurovision world, Australian broadcaster SBS have revealed that their entry will be revealed in the first week of March. Julia Zemiro, Eurovision commentator in Australia, revealed it during The Project.
Yesterday’s announcement caused a massive split in the Eurovision fan community. Disbelief, applauding the decision and questioning EBU on all possible media: all of it happened yesterday. After a night of sleep and the opportunity to get used to it, we now know when Australia is revealing its entry: the first week of March. Petitions have already started to get several artists to Vienna, including Kylie Minogue. Other names that are mentioned more often are last year’s interval act Jessica Mauboy, international star Sia and talent show winner Samantha Jade.
