Earlier we reported that Sweden will not attend the meeting for Heads of Delegation due to coronavirus. Now ynet reports that Israel is also skipping the meeting.
Obeying Health Ministry regulations
According to the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation KAN, the delegation cancelled its flight to Rotterdam in order to comply with the Health Ministry directives against flying abroad, expect in the case of an emergency.
The delegation of Sweden will also not attend the meeting. SVT’s Anette Helenius says that the meeting can handled with digital tools.
Israel will choose their entry for the contest tonight. Eden Alene was previously selected to represent the country in Rotterdam, but tonight we will find out which song she will sing in May.
The annual Heads of Delegation meeting will be held on Monday, March 9 in Rotterdam.
