🇮🇹 Nina Zilli releases new single ‘Schiacciacuore’

Given current world events, time is even more illusory than usual. However, it is slightly surreal to realise it has been 8 (eight!) whole years since Nina Zilli took to the stage in Baku with the wonderfully sassy ‘L’amore è femmina’. Last week, the sublime songstress released a new single – ‘Schiacciacuore’. The song, which collaborates with rapper Nitro is a bright summery track.

Releasing the song on the 5th June is by no means accidental, coinciding with World Environment Day. Indeed, the song lyrics consistently refer to floral-based imagery and metaphors. Schiacciacuore is also the name of a plant which Nina Zilli created an account for to track its flourishing growth in an uncertain lockdown-world.
