Sam Ryder to sing National Anthem at Formula 1’s British Grand Prix

Sam Ryder’s Eurovision journey just keeps getting better and better as it has been announced that he will be singing the British national anthem at Formula 1’s British Grand Prix taking place in just over a week’s time on July 3rd.

Sam’s heading to Silverstone

The news was announced on the Silverstone Circuit’s official social media channels, the circuit that is the home of the British Grand Prix. The announcement was accompanied by a video of Sam being treated to a thrilling ride around the circuit, undoubtedly a dream come true for Sam who has confessed his love for the sport before.

Another F1 grand prix for Sam!

Indeed, prior to arriving in Turin in early May, Sam paid another visit to Italy shortly before as he was a guest at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Imola. The TikTok star excitedly posted about “one of the best days of his life” as he saw the Formula 1 paddock with his own eyes.

The dream continues

This honour continues Sam’s rise to superstardom in the United Kingdom and beyond after his runner-up finish in last month’s Eurovision Song Contest, his #2 smash hit in the UK charts as well as a performance at The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebration in front of tens of thousands of people at London’s Buckingham Palace.

Sam’s journey won’t be stopping after the Grand Prix either, as he recently announced the release of his debut album ”There’s Nothing But Space, Man” later this year with a live tour to follow in early 2023!
