Eurovision Prediction🇳🇴 Norway

🇳🇴 YOU have predicted KEiiNO to win Melodi Grand Prix 2021!

Our players accurately predicted their 2019 win...have they done it again?

Over the last past week, you have been submitting your predictions for the sixth round of Eurovision Prediction 2021. In our first ‘Super Saturday’ of the season, you were asked to predict the winners of UMK in Finland, Melodi Grand Prix in Norway, and which song will Blas Cantó represent Spain with in this year’s contest. Now, let’s take a look at who you collectively expect to win the Norwegian ticket to Rotterdam!

The final is made up of six pre-qualifiers chosen by a professional jury, five acts chosen by viewers over five semi-finals, plus an additional viewers wildcard choice, selected last Monday.

After all 12 artists have performed, the voting opens for the first time. On each round, everyone will have three votes in total to give out for their favourites. After the first round, four artists will qualify to the next round.

When the result is ready, all twelve artists gather on stage in two groups. First six and then the other six to guaranteed the necessary distances. The four artists who are called up advance to the next round.

For the second round the votes are reset and the voters will get new three votes that they can distribute across the four artists as they wish. The songs are not performed live on this round of voting. The two with the most votes on this round go on to the gold duel.

In the gold duel, both artists will perform again, before the evening’s final vote starts. Once again, the votes will reset and three new votes are given.

The artist with the most votes in the gold duel is the winner of the Melodi Grand Prix 2021 and will represent Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.

During this round of Eurovision Prediction 2021, REPLACE of you have predicted who you think will take victory in Norway. Without further ado, here are the entries that YOU have predicted to win in order of frequency, from most to least:

Our players have good form for predicting MGP. Last year, over 2/3 of our players correctly predicted that Ulrikke would win MGP 2020. Back in 2019, almost 80% of our players accurately predicted that KEiiNO would triumph.

Members of the ESCXTRA team will be delighted with our voters’ choice, as “Monument” was ranked the top song of the selection in our Xtra Decides feature.

We will publish the official results within 48 hours of the final. Stay tuned to see how you fare against the rest of the competition! In the meantime, voting for Round 7, a QUADRUPLE national final round, will open next week!

Last year, our 420 prediction players only predicted the correct national winners 10 of out 27 times…an all-time low. To be fair, 2020 was a very unpredictable year in general. In 2019, our Eurovision Prediction players collectively predicted 16 out of 29 national final winners correctly. In 2018, your record was 19 out of 30.

After a…slow start to the season, our players hit a winning streak! After correctly predicted Barbara Pravi’s victory in France, over 90% of them scored maximum points following The Roop’s win in Lithuania. Unfortunately, this was derailed when Nina Kraljić finished second in Dora last weekend. Can Super Saturday get us back on track?
