Over the last past week, you have been submitting your predictions for the sixth round of Eurovision Prediction 2021. In our first ‘Super Saturday’ of the season, you were asked to predict the winners of UMK in Finland, Melodi Grand Prix in Norway, and which song will Blas Cantó represent Spain with in this year’s contest. Now, let’s take a look at what song you collectively expect will be Blas’ entry for Rotterdam!
Blas Canto has left the decision for his Eurovision entry up to the public. People from inside and outside Spain have been voting for their favourite between “Memoria” and “Soy A Quedarme”.
The voting procedure consists of two parts. On February 10, the two songs were released and from then fans were able to vote until today. Next to performing his two songs, Blas will also perform several duets with some artists and friends. The second part of the entry decision takes place during the gala show. People will be able to vote a second time as they get to see the performances. This second part of the voting will also take place on the internet.
During this round of Eurovision Prediction 2021, 190 of you have predicted which song you believe will win tonight. Without further ado, here are your votes:
Rank | Song | Number of predictions | Percentage |
1 | Soy A Quedarme | 145 | 76.3% |
2 | Memoria | 45 | 23.7% |
As Blas was internally-selected last year, there is no precedent for 2020 to refer to. However back in 2019, over 60% of our players expected María to win the OT Gala, with less than 20% predicting Miki’s win.
Members of the ESCXTRA team will be hoping for the opposite outcome, as “Memoria” was ranked the top song of the selection in our Xtra Decides feature.

We will publish the official results within 48 hours of the final. Stay tuned to see how you fare against the rest of the competition! In the meantime, voting for Round 7, a QUADRUPLE national final round, will open next week!
Last year, our 420 prediction players only predicted the correct national winners 10 of out 27 times…an all-time low. To be fair, 2020 was a very unpredictable year in general. In 2019, our Eurovision Prediction players collectively predicted 16 out of 29 national final winners correctly. In 2018, your record was 19 out of 30.
After a…slow start to the season, our players hit a winning streak! After correctly predicted Barbara Pravi’s victory in France, over 90% of them scored maximum points following The Roop’s win in Lithuania. Unfortunately, this was derailed when Nina Kraljić finished second in Dora last weekend. Can Super Saturday get us back on track?
