Over the last past week, you have been submitting your predictions for the seventh round of Eurovision Prediction 2021. In our second ‘Super Saturday’ of the season, you were asked to predict the winners of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix in Denmark, Eesti Laul in Estonia, Festival da Canção in Portugal and the winner of Italy’s Sanremo. Now, let’s take a look at who you collectively expect to win the Danish ticket to Rotterdam!
This year, eight acts will be taking part in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, as announced on Danish radio stations P3 and P4. Notably, last year’s winners Ben & Tan were not selected to return, despite submitting an entry.
The show will be hosted by Martin Brygmann and Tina Müller. Last year the final of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix was held in the Royal Arena without an audience. This is the case this year too, but the show has been moved to Studio 5 in DR Byen, which will give this year’s show a more cozy and intimate atmosphere.
On stage, all artists are backed by DR’s Grand Prix Orchestra under the direction of conductor Peter Düring. Unlike recent years, the winner will be selected by the televoters only.
During this round of Eurovision Prediction 2021, 162 of you have predicted who you think will take victory in Denmark. Without further ado, here are the entries that YOU have predicted to win in order of frequency, from most to least:

Our players have good form for predicting DMGP. Last year, over 1/3 of our players correctly predicted that Ben & Tan would win DMGP 2020. Back in 2019, only a quarter of our players predicted Leonora would win.
Members of the ESCXTRA team will be delighted with our voters’ choice, as “Silver Bullet” was ranked the top song of the selection in our Xtra Decides feature.

We will publish the official results within 48 hours of the final. Stay tuned to see how you fare against the rest of the competition! In the meantime, voting for Round 8, the final round, will open soon!
Last year, our 420 prediction players only predicted the correct national winners 10 of out 27 times…an all-time low. To be fair, 2020 was a very unpredictable year in general. In 2019, our Eurovision Prediction players collectively predicted 16 out of 29 national final winners correctly. In 2018, your record was 19 out of 30.
After a…slow start to the season, our players hit a winning streak! Currently, our players have predicted 5 out of 8 national final results correctly. Can they keep their winning streak going?
