Eurovision Home Concerts to return for 2021

The Black Mamba and Go_A will entertain us from their homes

Eurovision.tv has announced that Eurovision Home Concerts will return later this month as part of a series of online events that will take place across Eurovision’s social media channels. Alongside the Home Concerts, many artists will take part in Q&A sessions on Instagram and TikTok.

Portugal’s The Black Mamba and Ukraine’s Go_A will both perform their own Home Concerts. They will be held on Eurovision’s Instagram account. Last year, many past and present Eurovision artists took part in Home Concerts which ran for seven episodes on YouTube.

An online Road to Rotterdam

The announcement of Eurovision Home Concert’s return comes with the updated calendar on Eurovision.tv which outlines all the online content available leading up to the contest, including Q&As with James Newman, VICTORIA & Destiny and ‘Music First’ with Vincent Bueno on YouTube.

The Black Mamba and Go_A are the only artists currently announced for Home Concerts this year, but with the calendar due to be regularly updated, more artists could be announced in the coming weeks. The Black Mamba will perform their Home Concert on 15th April, with Go_A following them on 23rd April.

Last week, it was announced that Krista Siegfrids would front a new backstage series ‘Krista Calling’ at this year’s contest. This series will begin on 28th April, and will run until 21st May. Krista will also present this year’s Eurovision Song Celebration, where we will see all the Live-on-Tape performances from this year. These shows will be broadcast a week after the contest on 28th and 29th May.

Eurovision Home Concerts 2020

With last year’s Eurovision Song Contest cancelled, Eurovision.tv launched a new series “Eurovision Home Concerts” which saw famous Eurovision faces perform their entries from the contest along with another Eurovision favourite. The series run from 3rd April until the 15th May.

We saw performances from many familiar faces during the series including Eurovision 2020 artists Gjon’s Tears, Daði og Gagnamagnið, Ulrikke and Lesley Roy as well as former winners Jamala, Eimear Quinn and Dana to name just a few artists.

Are you excited to see the return of “Eurovision Home Concerts”? Is there any other artists you would like to see take part?
