Back in January, Barbara Pravi won Eurovision France – C’est vous qui décidez! with a comprehensive lead in both the televote and the jury vote. Prior to the contest, she made a triumphant Spanish television debut. Following her second place finish at last month’s Grand Final in Rotterdam, Barbara has announced a European tour.
Last month, Barbara announced a second Parisian concert for early 2022, after the original date sold out. She also announced her intention to tour elsewhere in Europe. This week, she made good on the promise by announcing dates for March and April 2022 in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday 16th June, so stay tuned to her page for more details. Also note, these are only the first dates, and other shows will likely be announced in due course.
About Barbara Pravi
Born to a family of artists and musicians, Barbara has released three EPs to date – Barbara Pravi (2018), Reviens pour l’hiver (2020) and Les prières (2021). In addition to her own music, she has been composing and writing for other artists since 2014.
Her most notable credits to date for most Eurovision fans will be France’s recent Junior Eurovision entries. In 2019, she composed the song “Bim Bam Toi” for Carla, who ended up placing 5th in the contest before the song went viral on TikTok. Barbara went on to write “J’imagine” for Valentina, who went on to win the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Fresh of her success as a writer, she was soon announced as one of the competing contestants of Eurovision France – C’est vous qui décidez!, having been approached previously to participate in Destination Eurovision. Barbara went on to win the selection with a landslide 204 points to runner-up Juliette Moraine’s 136. In Rotterdam, she finished 2nd behind Italy’s Måneskin with 499 points.
