Tonight, the third entry of Eurovision 2021 was confirmed! After two rounds of voting, fan favourite Barbara Pravi came out victorious. She will be performing Voilá at the Grand Final of Eurovision 2021. This also marks the first of the ‘Big 5’ to select their entry.
The selection was broadcast on France 2 from 21:05 CET tonight (January 30th). As a one-show selection, it marked a departure from the Destination Eurovision format last used in 2019.
The show included two rounds. After the first round, seven songs selected by televote and one wildcard selected by the jury qualified for the second round. The jury and the televoters then select the winner from these eight songs.
The 10-person jury was revealed earlier this month, and featured former French Eurovision acts Amir (2016), Marie Myriam (1977) and Natasha St-Pier (2001).
