Gjon’s Tears releases new single ‘Silhouette’

Gjon’s Tears has released his latest single ‘Silhouette’ on all streaming platforms. This is the Swiss star’s first release since his Eurovision 2021 bronze-medalist ‘Tout L’univers’

Silhouette

The first song from Gjon’s Tears since performing in Eurovision, Silhouette plays to his already established strengths. ‘Silhouette’ is a strongly sung French ballad with a minimal instrumental backing that slowly builds. The listener can therefore focus on his voice at first before the rising drama of the instrumental washes over them.

His soulful voice is incredibly strong as ever. Those who liked his Eurovision entries ‘Répondez-Moi’ and ‘Tout L’univers’ should find a lot to enjoy here. Some frantic background vocals add to the climax of the song as it builds towards a big finish.

He won that semi-final. In the Grand Final, ‘Tout L’univers’ finished 3rd behind winning entry ‘ZITTI E BUONI’ by Måneskin for Italy and ‘Voilá’ by Barbara Pravi for France.

I like the heavy and weird entries in Eurovision. I also like stats and diving deep into Eurovision stories. My picture is not of me.
