Goca Tržan withdraws from Pesma za Evroviziju ’22, replaced by Chegi & Braća Bluz Band

The group replaces her on the second semi-final

Due to health reasons, Goca Tržan has withdrawn from Serbia’s national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2022. Chegi & Braća Bluz Band will replace her on the second semi-final of Pesma za Evroviziju ’22 with the song “Devojko sa plamenom u očima”.

Goca Tržan was set to compete in Pesma za Evroviziju ’22 with the song “Fitilj“. Chegi & Braća Bluz Band will take her place in the second semi-final of the contest on March 4th.

The 36 songs of Pesma za Evroviziju ’22 were released a week ago. Serbia’s national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2022 will take place over three shows on, from March 3rd to March 5th. The winner will be decided by a 50/50 combination of votes from a jury panel and the Serbian public. Serbia will compete in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. The Serbian representative is set to perform on the first half of the show on May 12th.

Last year Serbia was represented by Hurricane, who won Serbia’s national selection Beovizija in 2020 and was selected internally as Serbia’s representative by the broadcaster in 2021. In Rotterdam, they qualified to the final with the song “Loco Loco“, where they finished fifteenth.
