Måneskin show rough “Supermodel” life in new video

Måneskin have dropped the official video for their latest single “Supermodel”. The video shows the rough life of a 90s supermodel, ending on a not so good note somewhere on a street… In this official video, Måneskin show what it means to live your life in the fast lane.

She’s a 90s supermodel

Back at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Måneskin performed “Supermodel” during the interval act. The song is their latest single and tells the story of a 90s supermodel, but highlights the lowlights of a life in the spotlights. In the video, which was directed by Bedroom Projects, we see a supermodel on the streets passing out. Soon after, we see the end of a party with the same supermodel leaving. Most of the guests are passed out, spread around the house.

The Måneskin members wake up first and decide to leave, leaving someone face down in a swimming pool as well. This image is also the cover art for the single. They chase after the supermodel and upon finding her at a party, she manages to escape and hijacks their car. In the end, the car ride doesn’t end well for the supermodel, as she crashes.

Måneskin making waves

The Italian rock group is probably one of the most successful acts to come from a Eurovision victory. After “Zitti e buoni” emerged victorious in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, the group have made many appearances on international television. They bagged nominations for the BRIT Awards, made it to Saturday Night Live, won an award at the MTV EMAs and have performed at Coachella – and that’s not even all of it. “Supermodel” is already gaining territory in the charts, as it entered the Dutch charts last Friday.
