Anna Sahlene – ‘HUNGRY’

Although she wasn’t a ‘Champion‘ in her Eesti Laul comeback earlier this year, the former Estonian 2002 representative is still keeping us well fed with new bangers on New Music Friday! This week Anna Sahlene shares a taste of her new single, ‘Hungry’. A funk-inspired anthem that celebrates life and enjoying new experiences no matter what age you are. Michael Rice – ‘Gotta Go Dancing’

The United Kingdom’s Eurovision 2019 representative, Michael Rice has released new single, ‘Gotta Go Dancing’ as part of a new exclusive project. In partnership with Mastercard, Michael joins artists from around the world, including Amaya (Maja Keuc) who represented Slovenia in 2011 and Australia Decides alumni, Tania Doko. Overall the album features ten international artists tasked to create singles using the signature Mastercard melody. In Michael’s contribution he’s dancing to the bank with retro disco beats.

Pastora Soler – ‘No será de nadie’

Last but not least on New Music Friday is Spain’s Eurovision 2012 representative, Pastora Soler. One of the most distinctive voices in Spanish music returns with new single, ‘No será de nadie’. Otherwise known as ‘It Won’t Be Anyone’s’, it might be everyone’s flamenco flavour this Summer! With classic Spanish percussion gliding with Pastora’s emotive vocals, this is an expression of love and romance. But, also a reminder to treasure those private moments for yourself.

It is special that day when you share a new song, and in this case more special because it is something different or perhaps a return to a style that I already know very well and that has given me so much joy, with more rumba rhythms, with flamenco guitars, but with a song with capital letters, with a wonderful message from those love stories that don’t have it because they have to know more than the protagonists, that not everything has to be for everyone, that there are things that cannot be told and now that everything is shared, it is also good to keep things for yourself.
