Albania in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Back in 2012 the Balkan nation made their Junior Eurovision debut in Amsterdam with Igzidora Gjeta and the entry, ‘Kam një këngë vetëm për ju‘. Unfortunately this resulted in last place with only 35 points. However this did not put Albania off, who have participated 8 times in total. Their best result came in 2015 with Mishela Rapo and her imaginary language fusion entry, ‘Dambaje‘ which placed 5th with 93.
Last year Albania selected Anna Gjebrea with, ‘Stand By You’ for the Paris final. During the contest she placed 14th overall with 84 points.
