Today (6th December 2024) the broadcaster responsible for the Albanian participation in the Eurovision Song Contest, RTSH has revealed the 30 songs that will compete in Festivali I Këngës 63 to represent Albania at the 2025 edition of the contest. The contest is due to take place in Basel, Switzerland.
Festivali i Këngës 63 songs confirmed
30 acts will take part in this year’s Festivali i Këngës 63, which will be held over four nights from 19th to 22nd December. The artists that will be taking part are:

- Devis Xherahu – “Ka momente“
- Djemtë e Detit – “Larg“
- Elvana Gjata – “Karnaval“

Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest
Since their debut at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul, Turkey, Albania has participated at the contest a total of 20 times. Their highest placement was in 2012 when Rona Nishliu placed fifth in the Grand Final with her song ‘Suus’.
In Malmö earlier this year, BESA represented Albania with her entry, ‘TITAN’. During the second Semi-Final, Albania placed 15th with 14 televote points. The successor to ‘TITAN’ will be one of the songs above.
