Today, the artists for Depi Evratesil, Armenia’s selection show for Eurovision 2025, have been announced.
Announced after a submission period that closed last month, the 12 artists are:
- Athena Manoukian
- Anahit Adamyan
- Anahit Hakobyan and Gasoya
- Arsen Grigoryan and Kamil
- Gevorg Harutyunyan
- Mels Danielyan
- Milena Mirijanyan
- PARG
- Simon
- Sevagir
- Flora Bichakhchyan
- ALTSIGHT
Artists that you might recognise include Athena Manoukian, who was chosen to represent Armenia in Eurovision 2020 prior to that contest getting cancelled, and Anahit Adamyan, who was one of Armenia’s representatives in Junior Eurovision 2016.
The songs will be released on Sunday February 9th.
The return of Depi Evratesil
It is the first time Armenia has used its national selection show, Depi Evratesil, to select its Eurovision entry since 2020, where Athena Manoukian won with ‘Chains On You’. This was the third season of Depi Evratesil. In the intervening years, they have used an internal selection to choose their entry, but have now returned to the national selection method.
The final will take place on February 16th, starting at 7pm AMT (UTC +4), where the winner will be selected solely from a public televote.
