RTVE release entries for Benidorm Fest 2024

The Spanish broadcaster revealed the 16 contestants who will be vying for a spot at the Eurovision final in May.

The contestants for Benidorm Fest 2024 have officially been revealed.

The festival will run for three days: semi-final one will take place on January 30th, semi-final two will be on February 1st, and the grand finale will take place on February 3rd. You can warm up to the show by listening to the songs right below. Click the song titles to listen!

Spain in Eurovision

Spain has participaed in Eurovison every year since 1961, which means they have participated 62 times in total. Spain has been one of the “big five” countries since 1999, meaning they have contributed a lot financially to the EBU and automatically qualify for the final every year. Spain has won Eurovision twice: first in 1968 with “La La La” by Massiel. In 1969, there was a four-way tie between France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Spain. Spain has the song “Vivo Cantando” sung by Salomé.

In 2023, spain sent enigmatic artist Blanca Paloma with the song “Eaea”, which finished 17th in the final. You can witness Blanca’s performance right here:
