Tom Leeb brings ‘The Best of Me’ to London!

France’s Tom Leeb is the next act confirmed for the London Eurovision Party! In early January, Tom Leeb was officially confirmed as the French act for Rotterdam, following a move away from the country’s national selection ‘Destination Eurovision’. The 30-year-old singer, actor, and comedian released his debut album Recollection last September. VICTORIA will perform at the London Eurovision Party 2020!

Representing Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, VICTORIA will bring her soon to be announced entry to the London Eurovision Party for the UK fans to hear at Café de Paris on Sunday 29th March. Bulgaria represented at LEP once again in 2020 Following in the footsteps of Poli Genova, Kristian Kostov and EQUINOX, this year’s Bulgarian representative VICTORIA will also perform at the London Eurovision Party. Kristian Kostov performs “Beautiful Mess” at the London Eurovision Party 2017. VICTORIA participated in season 4 of X Factor Bulgaria, alongside Kristian Kostov, and finished in 6th place. Her début English language single “I Wanna Know” was released in summer 2019. VICTORIA is the ninth act to be announced so far for the London Eurovision Party 2020. Michael Rice will make the London Eurovision Party bigger than us for the second year running!

Last year’s headline act, Michael Rice from the United Kingdom, will return to the Café de Paris stage to perform once more at the London Eurovision Party 2020! Situated right in the heart of London’s West End, this year’s event takes place on Sunday 29th March. All Together Now, London Eurovision fans! Representing the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel, Michael Rice headlined the ever-popular London Eurovision Party last year. Performing his entry “Bigger Than Us” on the stage, he felt the love from the crowd of UK fans and returns to the event this year to give an encore in front of his home nation crowd. Michael Rice won All Together Now, a singing competition broadcast by the BBC, in 2018. Charming the panel of judges, he sailed his way through the competition with renditions of Proud Mary, Crazy in Love and Hallelujah and took home the trophy. The Roop will be On Fire at the London Eurovision Party!

Currently atop the My Eurovision Scoreboard, The Roop from Lithuania will perform “On Fire” at the London Eurovision Party on Sunday 29th March. Second time is the charm for The Roop The pop-rock group from Vilnius won the ticket to represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 on their second attempt, having previously entered the national selection in 2018 with the song “Yes, I Do” coming third. This time, entering “On Fire” into Pabandom iš naujo!, the group came out on top in a very competitive 8-act final – winning both the jury and the televote by a considerable margin. The Roop won Pabandom iš naujo! and will represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the entry “On Fire”. The Roop are the seventh act to be announced so far for the London Eurovision Party 2020. Vincent Bueno brings “Alive” to the London Eurovision Party

One of the earliest announced artists for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, Vincent Bueno will represent Austria on the London Eurovision Party stage with his entry “Alive” during the event on Sunday 29th March 2020. Vincent Bueno is our sixth act for the event The Austrian-Filipino singer shot to fame in 2008 after winning Musical! Die Show on ORF. Whilst his Eurovision entry is yet to be released, we do know that the song will be about hidden heroes, which Vincent Bueno describing that “each and every one of us has the DNA of a hero or a heroine.” He competed in the Austrian selection for Eurovision in 2016, opening the show with an eye-catching performance of his uptempo song, “All We Need Is That Love”, finishing in sixth place. Arilena Ara takes to the London Eurovision Party stage!

Back in December, Arilena Ara became the first confirmed song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 when “Shaj” won Festivali i Këngës in Albania. We are delighted to announce that Arilena will take her place on the stage at the heart of London’s West End at the London Eurovision Party 2020 on Sunday 29th March. Not a stranger to competitions Arilena Ara, at the age of 21 years old, won the very competitive 58th edition of Festivali i Këngës in December 2019 with “Shaj”, which is undergoing a revamp with the inclusion of English lyrics. She made her breakthrough as an upcoming artist in Albania by winning The X Factor Albania in 2012 at the very young age of 14. Further competition success came for Arilena Ara when in 2016, she won Kënga Magjike with the song “Nëntori”, becoming a huge hit not just in Albania but across the Southern Eastern European region, making it to number 1 in the Romanian Airplay Chart. She then also reached number 1 in Bulgaria when featuring on “Last Train to Paris” by KDDK feat. Arilena Ara. Sieneke joins the London Eurovision Party 2020

Ten years after performing at the Eurovision Song Contest for The Netherlands, Sieneke will take to the West End stage to bring a little touch of this year’s host nation to the London Eurovision Party with her 2010 entry “Ik ben verliefd (Sha-la-lie)”! Her appearance has been sponsored by OGAE UK who are one of the key partners of the London Eurovision Party each year. “I can’t wait to meet you all in London” Aged just 18 years old, Sieneke represented The Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in nearby Norway. “Ik ben verliefd (Sha-la-lie)” reached number 1 on the Dutch Top 100 charts but unfortunately failed to qualify to the Grand Final at Eurovision itself. Blas Cantó brings his Universo to LEP 2020!

Representing Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, Blas Cantó will also attend the London Eurovision Party to preview his entry “Universo” in front of the UK fans! No stranger to Eurovision The Spanish artist is no stranger to the Eurovision Song Contest having previously been a member of pop group Auryn, who competed in the pre-selection for Eurovision 2011. They were runners-up to Lucia Peréz with their entry “Volver”. In fact, the Eurovision journey started even earlier for Blas Cantó. Aged just 13, in 2004 he competed in the Spanish selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Sentir”. He proceeded to the grand final but ultimately lost out to eventual JESC winner, María Isabel. Since becoming a solo artist, success has again followed for Blas Cantó. In 2017, he was nominated for Best New Artist at LOS40 Music Awards. In both 2017 and 2018, he was nominated for Video of the Year before achieving a nomination in the Album of the Year category in 2019 for his most recent release, Complicado. Samanta Tīna gets the London Eurovision Party 2020 started

Our first confirmed 2020 act to perform at the London Eurovision Party is Samanta Tīna from Latvia! Her entry “Still Breathing” won Supernova, the Latvian selection show, and she will present her song to the UK fans in the heart of the capital’s West End on Sunday 29th March.  Will London still be breathing after Samanta Tīna performs? Becoming an early fan favourite in the Latvian selection, Samanta Tīna raced to victory with both the televote and the online vote. Having previously competed to win the ticket to Eurovision five times in Latvia and two times in Lithuania, it’s fair to say her dream has truly come true.  A strong competitor in singing competitions across the continent, Samanta Tīna is no stranger to it! In 2010, she won the chance to attend a music school in London, before winning Golden Voices in Moldova in 2011 and becoming runner up in Slavianski Bazaar in Belarus in 2012. SuRie will host the London Eurovision Party 2020!

Stepping in as guest host and performer in place of the fabulous Nicki French, SuRie – who represented the United Kingdom at Eurovision in 2018 – will take the reins of hosting the London Eurovision Party alongside Paddy O’Connell. This year’s event will take place on Sunday 29th March and returns to the Café de Paris in the heart of the West End.  The two-time performer returns as hostess! This year’s show will be in safe hands as Paddy O’Connell returns to guide us through another night of entertainment, and in being joined by SuRie, the show will still be hosted by a former UK representative!  SuRie, of course, is no stranger to the London Eurovision Party. Performing in front of her home crowd before jetting off to Lisbon in 2018 and returning as a guest act beloved by the UK fans in 2019, in 2020 it will be three years in a row… perhaps proving that storms do last forever?  Nicki French said she was “absolutely gutted that I won’t be able to co-present” the event this year, due to her commitments with Menopause The Musical 2 – Cruising Through Menopause, but she will of course return to hosting …
