Suzy returns to the London Eurovision Party!

In 2014, Suzy attended the London Eurovision Party to perform her entry “Quero ser tua” which represented Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest. This year, she will return for the London Eurovision Party 2018 in the year that Portugal host Eurovision for the very first time! So get your dancing shoes on and prepare to join the party that Suzy will certainly bring to the stage on Thursday 5th April. Eurovision still a large part of Suzy’s life When Portuguese producer Emanuel asked Suzy to be his representative at the 50th anniversary edition of Festival da Cançāo, she finished with approximately 41% of the televote. A large preview tour took Suzy and “Quero ser tua” across the continent ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, including to both Amsterdam and London. Following her participation in 2014, Suzy was then the spokesperson for Portugal in 2015 and most recently was the Portuguese juror at the Finnish selection process, UMK, in March 2018. Moldova’s DoReDoS are the ninth act heading to London!

The line up for this year’s London Eurovision Party has just got increased as we are thrilled to announce Moldova’s DoReDos as the ninth confirmed act! The trio consisting of Marina Djundiet, Eugeniu Andrianov, and Sergiu Mita had previously attempted to represent the country in 2015 and 2016. They will fly to Lisbon with the song ‘My Lucky Day’ but not before making a stop in London to perform the entry at the Café de Paris on Thursday 5th April. Nine acts confirmed so far! Mikolas Josef is the next confirmed act for the London Eurovision Party!

He is one of the front runners with bookmakers to take the trophy in Lisbon and will now take to the stage at the prestige Café de Paris on Thursday 5th April –  We are delighted to confirm the Czech Republic’s Mikolas Josef as the next confirmed act for the 2018 London Eurovision Party! The singer/songwriter ended a four year modelling career in 2015 to pursue a professional music career which saw him release debut single ‘Hands Bloody” later that year. In 2016 his follow up single ‘Free’ became a top twenty hit in the Czech Republic and was followed by third single ‘Believe (Hey Hey)’. Eurovision – a year later than planned Josef was approached to represent the country at last year’s contest in Kyiv with ‘My Turn’ but turned down the offer as he did not feel the song suited his style and music direction.   Earlier this year, he entered the Czech national selection and was victorious with the cheeky pop number ‘Lie To Me’. Michael Schulte will perform at the London Eurovision Party

The London Eurovision Party 2018 is delighted to announce that Michael Schulte, the German representative this year, will be performing upon the Café de Paris stage on Thursday 5th April. From the Voice to Eurovision In 2012, Michael Schulte placed third on the first season of The Voice of Germany as part of Rea Garvey’s team. Following his success on the show, he released his debut studio album Wide Awake in autumn 2012. It is not uncommon for former participants of talent show The Voice to go on to participate in Eurovision. Other entrants include Belgium’s fourth-place act Loïc Nottet and France’s sixth-place act Amir. Michael Schulte’s Eurovision entry which will represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 is called “You Let Me Walk Alone” and is a very personal song co-written by the artist himself. Needless to say, we are delighted to be able to welcome Michael to the iconic Leicester Square venue of Café de Paris and we are sure the audience will give him a very warm welcome! Alfred and Amaia bring “Tu canción” to London

The London Eurovision Party 2018 is delighted to announce Alfred and Amaia from Spain as the sixth confirmed act to be taking to the stage at the Café de Paris, Leicester Square on Thursday 5th April. Operación Triunfo selects a duet for Eurovision After a long and gruelling Operación Triunfo competition, the Eurovision gala of the show was won by a romantic biographical duet by the young pair of Alfred and Amaia. Their friendship blossomed into a budding romance as the weeks went on as the duo bonded over their respective artistry. “Tu canción” is a song that describes the relationship between the two artists. Following the Eurovision gala, Amaia went on to be crowned the champion of this year’s edition of the reality competition programme. The waltzing “Tu canción” has appealed to fans both in their home country of Spain as well as to Eurovision fans across the continent. Six acts confirmed, who’s next? Spain’s act is the sixth confirmed country to perform at the London Eurovision Party 2018. SuRie will headline the London Eurovision Party 2018!

The London Eurovision Party 2018 is delighted to announce that SuRie, the UK’s representative for Lisbon, will be headlining this year’s event on Thursday 5th April.  A Storm comes to London! Fresh off the heels of her recent Eurovision: You Decide win, SuRie has confirmed her place at the London Eurovision Party 2018. She will take to the iconic Café de Paris stage to perform the British entry, “Storm”. Having previously provided backing vocals for two Belgian acts, SuRie has a wealth of Eurovision experience already. She took to the stage alongside Loïc Nottet and Blanche in 2015 and 2017. Five confirmed acts so far with more to come SuRie is the fifth act to be announced for the London Eurovision Party 2018. Previously, Cesár Sampson from Austria, Ryan O’Shaughnessy from Ireland, Eugent Bushpepa from Albania and Madame Monsieur from France were confirmed as performers for this year’s show. Cesár Sampson is the fourth confirmed London Eurovision Party act

We are delighted to announce the fourth confirmed act for the 2018 London Eurovision Party – Say hello to Cesár Sampson from Austria! Announced by ORF as the Austrian representative back in December last year, Cesár is no stranger to the Eurovision stage, having performed as a backing vocalist for both Poli Genova & Kristian Kostov in 2016 & 2017. Cesár was born in Liz, Austria and worked for many years as a social worker. He was part of the music formations Symphonix International and Electric Church. Although his Eurovision entry ‘Nobody but You” is yet to be revealed, you can guarantee you’ll hear it on the 5th of April at the Café de Paris. Tickets for this year’s London Eurovision Party sold out in under five minutes. If you were unable to secure one, the event organisers hope to release a small batch of production tickets shortly before the event so make sure you keep an eye on londoneurovision.com and ESCXTRA.com for updates.

Tickets for this year’s London Eurovision Party will go on general sale this Saturday 10th February. A limited amount of tickets will go on pre-sale to previous customers on Friday 9th February at 09:00 am GMT. This year’s event takes place once again at the iconic West End venue, Café de Paris in Leicester Square on Thursday 5th April and with three acts already announced, what are you waiting for? Make sure you’re ready for the sale by reading all the further information below! Pre-sale for previous customers Tomorrow, Friday 9th February, all customers who have previously booked tickets for the 2017 event will have access to a limited pre-sale. All customers were emailed information about the pre-sale, a link and an access code. With that code, you can buy your ticket in the special pre-sale which will take place at 9am. The pre-sale tickets are available at a discounted rate. There is a strict limit of just 2 tickets per cardholder per address during the pre-sale to allow more fans the opportunity to purchase tickets to the event. Ryan O’Shaughnessy joins London Eurovision Party line up

The London Eurovision Party preparations are in full swing and with just days to go until tickets are released, we are happy to announce our third confirmed act – Ryan O’Shaughnessy from Ireland! Ryan is no stranger to a live audience, having appeared on The Voice of Ireland in 2012. In the same year, Ryan progressed to the grand final of Britains Got Talent where he finished 5th place, performing the self composed ‘No Name’. In 2013, he put his songwriting skills to good use with his involvement in RTE’s ‘The Hit’. The show saw songwriters across the country fight it out to become victorious in various chart battles featuring their compositions. O’Shaughnessy won a chart battle against Brian Kennedy with the single “Who Do You Love?”, charting at No.3 in the Irish Singles Chart. On 31st January, O’Shaughnessy was officially announced as this year’s Irish representative, with the song “Together”. Ryan joins the ever growing list of artists scheduled to take to the Café de Paris stage on Thursday 5th April, with France’s Madame Monsieur and Albania’s Eugent Bushpepa already confirmed! Eugent Bushpepa is coming to the London Eurovision Party!

Before 2017 was even finished, Eugent Bushpepa earned the opportunity to represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Now, we are delighted to announce that “Mall” will be performed upon the London Eurovision Party stage at the Café de Paris, Leicester Square on Thursday 5th April. Eugent Bushpepa will perform “Mall” The winning entry for Festivali i Këngës 56 was “Mall”, performed so adeptly by Eugent Bushpepa. “Mall” was a song that won the hearts of many Eurovision fans around the world and we are very excited to be able to welcome him to the London Eurovision Party so that the UK based fans can see him perform on the Café de Paris stage. “Mall” was entirely written by Eugent Bushpepa himself. This year’s London Eurovision Party takes place on Thursday 5th April Eugent Bushpepa is the second act to be a confirmed performer at the London Eurovision Party 2018. Previously, the French act Madame Monsieur were confirmed as our first act along with the ticket release date.
