What’s next for the United Kingdom?

Change the audience’s idea of it
First of all, the great problem with the Eurovision in the United Kingdom is the approach that the audience has towards it. The audience is interested in viewing the show just to make fun about all the others contestants – and most of the times it is a making fun to conceal the embarrassment of their own nation.
But the audience just picked up the attitude from the BBC. Whereas other countries try to introduce all the contestants during their postcards with nice explanations and an excited tone, Terry Wogan first and Graham Norton now have always done the job of demeaning other countries, giving an impression of a joke contest for too long. And it has picked up.

Ok, nothing to this extent, just a tiny bit more engaged.
