🇧🇪 Kate Ryan releases her version of ‘Holiday’

Time to put on a pair of shades (in slow-motion, of course), grab our sandals and go on a holiday. With Kate Ryan! Well, maybe not an actual holiday, but certainly the next best thing. Travelling the world might be a bit difficult right now, but we can all just pretend to be shoveling sand out of our clothes while dancing to Kate Ryan’s take on a classic Madonna hit – ‘Holiday’.

In her Instagram post, Kate Ryan goes on to explain that she was asked to do her version of ‘Holiday’ for a promotional campaign. Everything was postponed due to the recent pandemic, but now it’s the perfect time to share it with all of us. Being a big fan of Madonna since she was a child, Kate has put lots of love and effort into this version. The outcome is a true bop that gets hips shaking and sunglasses flying! You can listen to it on various streaming platforms by following this link or by just watching the YouTube video down below:

Je t’adore, Kate Ryan!

A long time ago in a Eurovision Song Contest far, far away…Kate Ryan was representing Belgium with her entry ‘Je t’adore‘. Despite having light-up microphone stands and men with perfectly waxed chests jumping around on stage, she somehow failed to make it past the semi-final. The song has since become a part of every “X WAS ROBBED” conversation and Eurovision party night. You can bop to it all over again down below:

Do you adore Kate’s version of ‘Holiday’? Would you like to see Kate Ryan back in Eurovision? Crocs vs sandals?
