🇸🇲 San Marino announces entry’s release date as Senhit releases new Eurovision cover

Freaky trip to Rotterdam continues

SMRTV has announced the date Senhit’s Eurovision 2021 entry will be out. There’s only few weeks to wait, as the song will be released on February 23rd. Today their representative Senhit has also released a new Eurovision cover.

Senhit covers “Alcohol Is Free”

San Marino’s broadcaster SMRTV revealed that Senhit’s Eurovision 2021 entry will be revealed on February 23rd. It seems that unlike last year, when the broadcaster gave the power to the people, this year they chose the entry internally.

Next to these news, Senhit has released a new cover on her #FreakyTripToRotterdam series. Over the past months she has covered Eurovision hits such as “Everyway That I Can“, “Congratulations” and “Rise Like a Phoenix“, today she released her own version of Greece’s 2013 entry “Alcohol Is Free”.

Senhit at the Eurovision Song Contest

In 2011, Senhit represented San Marino in Düsseldorf (as Senit), with the song “Stand By“. Unfortunately, she failed to qualify for the Grand Final when she placed 16th in the semifinal.

Nearly ten years on, Senhit announced her return to the Eurovision Song Contest, and after an online-vote, it was announced that she will be singing “Freaky”. Despite the cancellation of the 2020 contest, it was announced that Senhit will represent San Marino at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.
