Channel One has confirmed that Little Big will take part in the national selection Russia will hold on March 8th. The group was set to represent Russia at the Eurovision 2020 with “Uno”.
“We want the audience to have the last word.”
Our viewers will see a beautiful, bright music show, absolutely in the tradition and style of the Eurovision Song Contest, where they will hear several songs, see several artists who will perform these songs, and they will have the least thing to do – dial a phone number and vote for that artist, and most importantly, the song that they like the most.

Little Big will be one of the contestants at the national selection on March 8th. The chief producer of music and entertainment programs on Channel One, Yuriy Aksyuta, says that they want the audience to have the last word on who goes to Rotterdam to represent Russia in 2021.
There are two equal ways to select a participant for the Eurovision Song Contest. First, the broadcaster can find it on its own, as, for example, the Dutch TV channel in 2019 chose Duncan Laurence, who became the winner of the competition. Secondly, the broadcaster can organize a national selection, where the artist and the song are chosen by the jury and / or the audience. A striking example is the Swedish Melodifestivalen. In recent years, we have usually resorted to the first method. But this year we still want the audience to have the last word, who will be presented with compositions that meet the requirements of Eurovision.

Earlier we reported that Little Big sent in songs for Eurovision 2021, but recently it was confirmed that Russia will hold a national selection.
Yulia Savicheva, who represented Russia at Eurovision 2004 has stated on Instagram that she has been invited as a guest to attend the show on March 8.
