Måneskin have released their music video for “I Wanna Be Your Slave”, following their win at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 and huge chart success around the world.
The band have been teasing the video for many days now on their social media with a variety of stills and a clip from the video. The music video is directed by 26-year-old film director Simone Bozzelli with creative direction by Aurora Manni and Måneskin themselves.
Like the Eurovision winning song “ZITTI E BUONI”, this track also features on their latest album “Teatro d’ira: Vol. I”. Both songs have been storming global streaming charts, as well as their 2017 cover song “Beggin'” The band will be hoping the release of this video will further increase the exposure of this song and continue their post-Eurovision success.
Måneskin at Eurovision 2021
Måneskin won Eurovision 2021 for Italy in Rotterdam with a grand total of 524 points. It is Italy’s first victory in 31 years, with their last victory dating back to Toto Cutugno in 1990. In a decisive victory, the band scored top three in Eurovision televoting with over 65% of the countries. The search is now on for the city to host the 2022 contest, with reports that an amazing 17 Italian cities have submitted interest in hosting the contest next year.
