France Télévisions and the EBU have have announced that Nice will be the host city for this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest on Sunday 26 November. The slogan and branding will be revealed later this year.
France won the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Yerevan, their second win in three years. Lissandro’s victory with the song ‘Oh Maman!’ gave France another opportunity to host the contest following their hosting in the country’s capital Paris in 2021. This year the contest will head to the south eastern city of Nice, located in the Côte d’Azur region of France.
Palais Nikaia
Palais Nikaia in Nice will be the venue this year. The indoor concert hall has a capacity to seat up to 6,000 people depending on the configuration. It’s location is close to the Côte d’Azur airport and Nice Saint-Augustin train station, with the addition of local bus and tram routes serving the concert hall.
