Käärijä after Eurovision 2023
Since the Liverpool contest, Käärijä has become one of Finland’s most in-demand exports. After taking the global charts by storm, including making chart history in the United Kingdom, with ‘Cha Cha Cha‘, Käärijä has sold out arenas across Europe and joined the growing list of successful Eurovision runner-ups. New fans have also been treated to more new music, such as ‘It’s Crazy, It’s Party‘. To round off a life-changing 2023, Käärijä topped the ESC 250 table. The annual Eurofan tradition, sees fans from around the world vote for their favourite songs of all-time.
To recognise the cultural impact of Käärijä’s success, his hometown of Vantaa created a mural of the singer. Earlier this year, Käärijä returned to UMK where it all started to perform a duet with Erika Vikman. As well as making a comeback to the Eurovision 2024 stage to perform in the Malmö interval.
