As we are just a day away from the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, all of the contestants are in full promotional mode to secure your votes. Everyone has a different way to promote their entry, whether this is through interviews or promotional appearances. However, Serbia’s Petar Aničić has taken a different approach to promoting his song. He has previously released the English Lyric video to ‘Heartbeat’. Now he’s released the official Polish and Spanish versions of his entry. Meet Unity In September 2020, The Netherlands selected Unity to represent them at the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song ‘Best Friends’. Their entry was written and composed by Robert Dorn. Unity is unique, as they are the only group to compete at the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The girl-group consists of Naomi (13), Maud (14), Jayda (13) and Demi (14). Within this article, we learn more about Kazakhstan’s representative, Karakat Bashanova, and her entry ‘Forever’. Meet Karakat Bashanova 12 year old Karakat Bashanova was victorious in a twelve song national final earlier this year. During the final she narrowly won by 0.2% with her moving ballad ‘Forever’. The entry that she will perform in Sunday’s contest was written by Yeleusiz Ardak, Abulkhair Adam and composed by Khamit Shangaliyev. Khamit is also known for composing Yerzhan Maxim’s Junior Eurovision 2019 entry ‘Armanyńnan Qalma’. ONLINE VOTING FOR JUNIOR EUROVISION 2020 IS NOW OPEN!

Votes can be cast via vote.junioreurovision.tv NOW! Viewers from all over the world can vote for three countries. The first round of voting is open right now and will close at 4.59pm CET on Sunday 29th November, just before the beginning of the live broadcast. Then, voting will reopen during the show for fifteen minutes following the final performance so that any final votes can be cast. The votes cast during these two voting windows will make up 50% of the total result. The number of points allocated to each country will be determined by the percentage of the online vote received. The other 50% of the points will be determined by the professional juries across the nineteen participating countries. For a full explanation, watch the video below! Today we continue looking at preview performances for the upcoming 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The final participant to release their preview clip is Susan from Germany, who will be representing her country with the song ‘Stronger With You’. In the preview clip, we see that Susan will be on her own on stage, and will be accompanied by bright visuals and LED lights surrounding her on stage. Junior Eurovision 2020 interval acts revealed

EBU & TVP have revealed the interval acts for Junior Eurovision 2020 later this week. Polish stars and a past Eurovision winner will perform on Sunday. Winners come together Host broadcaster TVP have invited Eurovision 2019 winner Duncan Laurence to perform his song ‘Arcade’. Duncan will be joined by the past two Junior Eurovision winners Viki Gabor and Roksana Węgiel to perform the song together. Viki Gabor will also return to the Junior Eurovision stage to perform her 2019 winning song ‘Superhero’ again. Alicja Szemplińska won the Polish national selection Szansa Na Sukses in February and was set to represent Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with her song Empires. As we know Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam was cancelled, but Alicja has been given the opportunity to perform her song on the Junior Eurovision stage. During her performance, Alicja will be joined by a dance act. #MoveTheWorld Poland will showcase it’s dance talent as teenage dancers will perform a modern jazz routine, thanking people of all different professions for their daily efforts.
