Lisbon 2018

Ieva Zasimauskaitė: “We will sing the end of the song in Lithuanian in Lisbon” (Interview)

It’s been a little more than a week since we were in Amsterdam at Eurovision in Concert. We then spoke with Lithuania’s favourite, Ieva Zasimauskaitė about her song, getting old and her chances in Lisbon.

Lithuanian in Lisbon and a restaurant

During the interview, Ieva shared with us that she really wants to open a restaurant. It’ll have to be a vegetarian restaurant, where she will cook and sing. Her favourite dish? Lithuanian potato pancakes, which (we think) are called blynai.

As for Lisbon, Ieva shared with us that she loves how people respond to the Lithuanian ending of her song. She told us she will also end the song with the Lithuanian chorus in Lisbon. It will be the first time since 2001 that the Lithuanian language will feature at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Check out the interview below to see what lovely Ieva had to say!
