Tonight: Greece chooses its entry as Spain selects its last finalists

The weekdays are not over, but tonight we should know the fourth entry for Eurovision 2025, as Greece’s new selection will take place. Later on, Spain will broadcast the second semi-final of the Benidorm Festival, from which the last four finalists will qualify.

20:00 CET, until 22:45 CET

Twelve songs will compete in this single show, in this running order:

The show will be hosted by former Eurovision winner Helena Paparizou and 2004 and 2009 Greek representative Sakis Rouvas.

A classic 50/50 split of juries and televote will decide the winner, with half of the jury votes coming from a Greek jury, and the other half from an international jury, making it a 25/25/50 split. In case of a tie for victory, the song with the highest televote will win the selection.

22:45 CET, until 00:25-00:30 although the first semi-final started with a delay of more than 10m.

  • Online, either on:
  • Physically, at the Palau Municipal d’Esports l’Illa de Benidorm, in Benidorm, Valencia

Eight songs will compete for four spots to the final, in the following running order :

  1. Mel Ömana – “I’m a Queen

  7. Celine van Heel – “La casa
  8. Melody – “Esa diva

Like the first semi-final, the show will be hosted by Ruth Lorenzo (Spain 2014), Paula Vázquez and Inés Hernand.

A different kind of 25/25/50 split this time, with 50% of the votes coming from a single jury (although it is technically made up of four international members and four Spanish members), 25% coming from the traditional calls and text of the televote, and 25% coming from free app voting on the RTVEplay app.

The detailed votes will not be revealed at the end, with only the four qualifiers being announced. They will join the qualifiers of the first semi-final in Saturday’s final.
