Day seven of rehearsals at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 has come to an end! We’ve seen the final 13 entries from the second semi-final take to the stage for the second time. As always, we have conducted the daily press poll to discover how members of the press rate today’s performances! How it works After the conclusion of today’s rehearsals, we asked 35 members of the press to rate today’s performances based on their rehearsals rather than by their favourite songs. To do this, each press member chose their top 3 performances and we allocated 5 points to their favourite, 3 points to their second favourite and 1 point to their third favourite. Staging With such a huge prop, there are very limited changes from the first rehearsal. His “two-level gigantic piano” in which he hides at the very beginning has returned. The piano is lit up in red again today and it opens up for the first pre-chorus, lifting up by the contraption within the piano. MELOVIN is joined by four backing singers to the left again. WATCH: Eye Cue’s pre-show ritual “I burn my guitar and get a new one”

F.Y.R. Macedonia’s Eye Cue joined us on our livestream and chatted with the fans. They were hilarious, telling us that their ritual before they go on stage is to burn their guitar and get a new one! They also talked about their favourite F.Y.R. Macedonian foods, which song from this year they would cover, and if Eurovision is good for launching an international career.
